About this Boat: Built by master carpenter Charlie Fox for his own retirement, Badger is a traditional-style narrowboat that blends craftsmanship with comfort. Powered by a classic 1956 3YC Ruston engine, she resonates with heritage and heart.
Her interior is a celebration of Brazilian Red Hardwood, from the bespoke cabinetry to the handcrafted dining table. The saloon offers two built-in sofas—one converting to a double bed, the other a single—alongside a charming original Fox wood-burning stove with back boiler.
The galley is fully equipped with a Vanettee 4-burner hob, Ord Midi Prima oven, Shoreline fridge and freezer box, twin stainless-steel sinks, and all cookware included. A fixed double bed with ample built-in storage sits near the stern, with a hatch to the steering deck and access to the weed hatch below.
Completing the layout is a bathroom with a Tecma pump-out toilet, shower, hot water cylinder, and an airing cupboard.
Thoughtfully designed and lovingly built, Badger is more than a narrowboat—she’s a floating legacy, ready for her next chapter.
